Shaiytan is Pleased With Your Salah! - How?

Do you also randomly think of various things during salah? Sometimes when we perform the salah, we may not be able to give our full attention to it. Unfortunately, there are times that we perform our salah without even thinking about Allah once. You don't need to look back too far, just remember the last salah you performed. What were you thinking of in that prayer? Or were you able to pray peacefully with a focused mind? If your answer is no, and most of the time if you feel that your salah is not good in this regard, inshaallah this video will be useful for you. Unfortunately, so many times, we cannot concentrate on our salah. Our minds become filled with different worldly things.
Sometimes we even have inappropriate images in our minds when we're performing the salah. And this makes us uncomfortable. And Shaitan tries his best to make your worship as inefficient as possible. Do you remember when Shaitan kept you away from your salah? He made it seem very difficult for you. After that, even when you started praying, Shaitan didn't give up to distract you. If he can reduce your focus, or anything like this from your salah, he sees it as a profit. Yes, Shaitan may be giving you irrelevant thoughts to occupy your mind during your salah. But when you perform it, even if you cannot give your full attention to it, you are doing your duty as a prayer. Don't make waswasa.
There is no problem about that. And sometimes to make you feel desperate, Shaitan makes you think that, "I would rather not pray at all than pray like this. That was not a prayer at all. I was thinking something else." No brother, no sister. Never pay attention to such thoughts. Because you cannot always concentrate and have this peace with your salah. It's hard to maintain this. But the more you can achieve these things, the better your salah will be. Inshallah, for this reason, I made a list of seven tips that will help you and help me in our salah, and these will increase our concentration and focus.
You should Pray in a clean and simple place Praying in a room with a lot of clutter, a carpet that catches your eye or something with a pattern around, it will distract you. Because of these things, you will most likely think of irrelevant things. You should put your phone away. You can put it on airplane mode or mute it. In that way, you won't be disturbed by notifications, texts, and calls while you're praying. If you pray in a situation where you have to go to the bathroom or when you are very hungry, you may not be able to focus on your salah. It's better to take care of your needs first, and then pray.
If you are very sleepy when you perform Fajr prayer, your soul will not feel anything from the salah. You have to get rid of that sleepy mood first. It may be good to splash some cold water on your face, on your neck. Also, before the salah, you can go to a place with lots of fresh air and take a few deep breaths there. Apart from all these, if your recitation of the Qur'an is not good, it's... If you cannot really pronounce the letters correctly, you may not get the full pleasure from the Qur'an. Therefore, we should correct them and listen to the famous imams, reciting the surahs. And then look at our own recitation.
Of course, I don't expect you to become Imam of the Kaaba, but if we improve our recitation and tajweed, if we get the education about that, we will get much more peace and pleasure from the salah. It's necessary to try to follow the movements in salah appropriately. We define this Ta'dil al-Arkan in Arabic. Let me ask you: who is the person that performed the most focused salah in the history of the world? Of course, Prophet Muhammad (saw), right? How did the Prophet (saw) perform salah? How would he perform takbir? How did he bow when he performed Ruku? How long should one pause between Ruku and Sujud? How long should one wait between two sujuds?
By looking for answers to such questions, we should learn the rules of salah in the most correct and proper way. Finally, when we pray, we should think about whose presence we are in, and to whom we are worshiping. When we say "Allahu Akbar" between the movements of our salah, we should think about the meaning of it. Allahu Akbar. Allah is the greatest. We should think that everything we have was given to us by Allah. And we have to think about how weak and helpless we are before Him. At this point, the peace and reflection that comes from meeting with the Sultan of the universe, this thought will increase our concentration and the peace of our salah.
After all these, let's get to the main point. What is the matter that will make you say, "Fortunately, I have learned this." One day someone complains to Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, one of the great scholars of Islam. The man says that he cannot get any pleasure and peace from his prayers. And Bediuzzaman gives a very good answer to this. "This world is a place of service and duty. It's not a place of rewards. The rewards, fruits and lights of good deeds are in the barzakh, in the intermediate realm, in the Hereafter. Trying to bring those eternal rewards into this world and wanting them here is trying to make the Hereafter a means of getting blessings in this world.
Then, the sincerity, the ikhlas of that good deed is broken and it loses its light. Yes, these rewards shouldn't be desired or intended. But instead they might be granted in the Hereafter." Bediuzzaman says. Of course, we all want pleasure in our salah. But what kind of intention should we have when we perform salah? We should say, "O my Lord. I intend to perform the obligatory prayer of this time just for your sake." This means that, we are not praying for pleasure. Actually, in this situation we are being tested for our sincerity. Even if we get bored, even if we don't like it sometimes. For example, you are so tired and sleepy and didn't perform the Isha prayer.
You just force yourself to perform that prayer, whether you enjoy it or not. This is our most important duty. This is the reason of our creation. No matter what happens, we still have to perform our salah. This state of concentration, this pleasure we seek will surely come eventually, even if it is not always there. So what can we do to perform salah with sincerity, with ikhlas, only for the sake of Allah? The better we know our Creator, the more sincerely we will worship Him. So our problem is the lack of knowledge in Marifatullah. What does Marifatullah mean? It's the concept of knowing Allah. If we know our Creator better, our worship and prayers will be completely in a different level.
So how can we know Allah better? With the truths of faith. By reading the Holy Qur'an, by reading the tafseer that explain the meaning of the Holy Qur'an. For example, I highly recommend you the Risale-i Nur tafseer in this regard. By reading Risale-i Nur, we will get to know our Lord better. In this way we will solve our problems, inshaallah. Whatever a person is occupied with during the day, thoughts related to those things will come to his mind. For example, if I spend my whole day with football, I would see football in my dream. And it would occupy my mind even when I perform salah. Now, let's think from another perspective.
If we fill our minds with the truths of faith, with Marifatullah or with the Qur'an, what do you think will come to our minds when we perform salah? We will think of Rabbul Alameen. The truths we have learned will come to our minds. Even in our dreams we will read Qur'an. That's why we should follow the first command of Allah. Allah has mentioned what we must do in the first verse of the Qur'an. So, what is the first verse? Iqra. Read. Then, we should read Qur'an. Read the book of universe. By looking at the clouds, we can read the universe. Look at the mountains. Look at the flowers, stars. Read about yourself.
After that, inshaallah you will start to perform your salah with peace and sincerity. By the way, if you have any tips that makes you focus in your prayers, you can just share them in the comments section.
