In other words, the last teacher of this school we call the dunya (world) has come and gone. So, could graduation be really far away? Another sign is that the Quran will lose its importance in people's lives. And indeed, when we look around today, we can clearly see this happening everywhere. Many people are so absorbed in worldly life that they forget to even open a single page of the Quran. I was so busy with work and life that I couldn't find time to read it. The last time I read the Quran was back when I learned it as a child. And maybe you are one of them too.
Another sign is that salah (prayer) will be abandoned. To understand how few people pray, just look around your school or workplace. Guys, I'm going to the masjid (mosque). Anyone else coming for salah (prayer)? As the day of judgment gets closer, the number of people who pray will keep going down. Another sign is that mosques will be overly decorated, but worship will be neglected. The other one is Al-Malhama Al-Kubra, the Great War. This war is also one of the signs of qiyamah (the Day of Resurrection). Scholars have different opinions about which war this actually refers to or whether it has already taken place.

Older people won't have mercy on the younger ones, and the young won't show respect to the elders. People will lose interest in marriage, and illegitimate children will increase. Jihad and dawah (inviting others to Islam) activities will be abandoned. Only non-religious knowledge will be learned. The balance of nature will be disturbed.
Disasters like floods, earthquakes, and fires will increase all over the world. Natural resources will disappear. Murders will increase. Tall buildings will be built. Qadar (divine decree) and the day of judgment will be denied. So, as you see, almost all of the minor signs of the hour have already happened. These signs clearly show that humanity has entered its final stage. Now, let's move on to the major signs that indicate the end of the world. One of the major signs is the coming of the Dabbat al-Ard. Run away! What's happening? So, what does that mean? Dabbat al-Ard is the name of a creature that will appear close to the day of judgment.
The word literally means a living being that walks on the Earth. The ayah (verse) tells us that some kind of beast will come from the Earth. It is mentioned like this: "And when the verdict is given against them, We will bring a creature from the Earth, which will tell them that people did not believe in Our revelations with certainty." The great Islamic scholar Bediüzzaman Said Nursi says that the Dabbat al-Ard will not be a single creature, but rather a species, a kind of creature. In the last century, new diseases and viruses have appeared more often than ever before. Like worms that eat through trees, they spread through the human body from head to toe.

"O Dhul-Qarnayn, Yajuj and Majuj are ruining this land. Will you build a barrier between us and them if we pay you a fee?" At their request, Dhul-Qarnayn builds a barrier in that region. And once the construction was completed, Yajuj and Majuj were not able to pass over it, nor could they make a single hole in it. Dhul-Qarnayn said that the barrier would only be destroyed when the time appointed by Allah comes. And that is one of the signs of the hour.

Centuries later, their descendants will once again harm humanity near the end times with cruelty similar to that of their ancestors. Of course, Allah knows best. From one hadith, we learn that there will be 30 of them. Among these, the two Dajjals of the end times have a special place.
One is the great Dajjal, and the other is the Dajjal that will emerge from among the Muslims, the Sufyani. According to narrations, the Sufyani will try to corrupt Islam and ruin people's eternal life by spreading disbelief and haram in a hypocritical way. The great Dajjal, on the other hand, will lead both Muslims and non-Muslims to disbelief through the ideologies he spreads. Another sign is the coming of the Mahdi, who will be from the lineage of our Prophet (peace be upon him). The Mahdi is described as a man guided by Allah who leads people back to their Creator. He will rescue the people drowning in disbelief and those in doubt and confusion about their faith.
He will save them from the darkness and from the danger of the Dajjal and the Sufyani. One of the greatest signs is the descent of Isa alayhissalam (Jesus, peace be upon him) from the sky, also known as Jesus, peace be upon him. There are hadith saying that Isa alayhissalam will come down to Earth in the end times and will implement the rulings of Islam. When he had lived as a prophet, the Jews set a trap for him and tried to crucify him. But before they could do so, Allah raised him up to the heavens and saved him. After the emergence of the Mahdi, Isa alayhissalam will descend from the sky as a just ruler.
In the end, he will join the Mahdi in destroying the Dajjal and his movement and will kill the Dajjal (Antichrist) himself. The other indication is the Dukhan (smoke). Dukhan actually means smoke. Just as our Creator says in the ayah, "Are they only waiting for the hour to take them by surprise? Yet, some of its signs have already come.
